The Swatch Touch Zero One – part watch and part fitness tracker – adopts the same design as the original Touch series, boasting big-screen LCD dials and touch-sensitive zones that have replaced the pushbuttons on conventional watches. Besides the usual functions like telling the time and date, an alarm clock and a timer, the new Swatch Touch Zero One doubles up as an e-companion to keep track of a range of activities, including measuring the power of your smash (while playing beach volleyball), how much you clap (we really don’t get this one), the steps you’ve taken, the distance you’ve travelled and the calories burned. Connect the Touch Zero One to your phone via Bluetooth to access the virtual “coaches” that will help you reach your goals. Come on, it’s technically summer time (even though it’s summer all-year round in Singapore). That should be reason enough for you to whip out your bikini, hang out with friends at the beach and most importantly, bare that hot body you’ve been working on ever since you started going for hot yoga and spin classes. You go, Glen Coco!
