So you may or may not have watched the latest trailer for the upcoming blockbuster starring Zachary Quinto, Rupert Friend and Ciarán Hinds. Some of the lead cast members were in Singapore to shoot on location last year for Hitman: Agent 47, an action thriller based on the video game series of the same name, which focuses on an elite assassin who was designed from young to become the ultimate killing machine. When the first trailer came out, we saw some obvious Singaporean cameos like our Comfort cabs. This time round, our beautiful country got a little more airtime.

#1: Oh look, isn’t that The Sail? I don’t remember it looking that intimidating though. Perhaps that’s the headquarters of where all these Agents are being groomed.

#2: It’s probably safe to assume that Agent 47 is in that red Audi, probably after having a meal at The Satay Club (or perhaps after an epic action sequence at Gardens By The Bay). By the way, that road is usually used for people to walk, cycle, skate, lepak

#3: And maybe the ArtScience Museum is where that weird airplane engine (shown in the trailer) is at. Also, behold – our beautiful (and very metropolitan) skyline.

#4: Movies usually don’t put number plates on their cars but hey, look at that truly Singaporean number plate (I wonder if they had to pay the exorbitant priced COE for this). Also, drifting through our CBD during the day? Not possible.

#5: Intersection of McCallum Street and Robinson Road. So this was where all the cabs were hiding out last year when I so desperately needed one…

#6: MPH Bookstores product placement…

#7: This Singaporean who managed to get a cameo during the epic shoot-out… Good for you!

#8: I like how the colour of his tie matches the colour of the Audi, and MPH Bookstores’ logo; intentional or not.

#9: People of America (and the rest of the 3,230,212++ people in the world who will watch this), the next time you come to Singapore, you now know the number to call to get a cab here.

#10: Shout-out to our friends at Ogilvy & Mather Singapore (and the calm people standing outside the office).

#11: Their version of fireworks, I guess. Also, WHERE ARE THEY STANDING? I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEE THIS VIEW IN PERSON TOO.

Hitman: Agent 47 hits theatres in Singapore on 20 August.
