Ponies, rainbows, and all the best designer pieces from the Autumn/Winter ’15 collections… it’s magic! That pretty much sums up the 11th edition of LuisaViaRoma’s biannual fashion, art and technology summit, Firenze4Ever.
From 13th to 15th June, Florence will once again host fashion icons from all over the world as they descend on the city to style shoots for the STYLE-LAB, and be photographed with Florence’s most iconic landmarks. There’s also the Rainbow Party to attend, and it will be headlined by Italian DJ and producer Giorgio Moroder. This time, LuisaViaRoma will be giving back to the community in the cutest way possible, through getting big-name designers like Balmain, Gareth Pugh and Kenzo to design their own My Little Pony – each one-of-a-kind design will then be auctioned on eBay on the last day of Firenze4Ever, with all proceeds going to Save The Children, an organisation that has been working to provide aid to children affected by the recent earthquake in Nepal. Finnish artist Mari Kasurinen will also be designing her versions of My Little Ponies inspired by pop culture icons, and the LuisaViaRoma concept store will basically be transformed into a My Little Pony wonderland for the event. We expect lots of rainbow-hued fabulousness, so keep a close eye on LuisaViaRoma’s Instagram @luisaviaroma and their Facebook page for event updates.
