Amidst all the fireworks and promotions and deals that Singapore’s jubilee anniversary has brought us, nothing much really stands out. Unless of course, you’re talking about the nine-day tribute that Fullerton Hotel Singapore has lined up next month.
Projection mapping – nothing new, but always a visual feast for many. Fun fact: did you know that now holds the Guinness World Record for the “World’s Largest Digital Projection System” after their incredible light show a the recent SEA Games Opening Ceremony?
This August, the Fullerton Hotel will become a canvas for the “A Celebration of Our Heritage” projection mapping show, produced in collaboration with Singaporean tech partner, Hexogon Solution Pte Ltd. Expect 3D images of key moments that have taken place at the Fullerton Square as well as colourful stamps that circulated over the past 50 years (another fun fact: The Fullerton Hotel was previously Singapore’s General Post Office from 1928 to 1996). The best place to catch the projection mapping show is from One Fullerton and the Merlion Park.
