The love affair between fashion and music is everlasting. Keith Richards isn’t Keith Richards without his leopard coat, and John Lennon without his round glasses is unsettling. Together, fashion and music make a killer combo and hey, it’s always exciting to see two industries come together to create something new. Here’s a few recent fashion x music collaborations that are noteworthy:

Saint Laurent Paris Sessions
Hedi Slimane continuously feeds off his musical muses. Apart from collaborating with Daft Punk, Marilyn Manson, Sky Ferreira and many more artists in the past, he recently he released a campaign called Paris Sessions, featuring French pop musicians. The Pre-Fall 2015 collection was an homage to this generation’s French rock ‘n’ rollers; below are French musicians Melody Prochet, Pablo Padovani and Anna le Clezio who were photographed for the campaign and were seen watching the Pre-Fall 2015 show, which they played a part as Slimane’s inspiration.

Justin Timberlake x Tom Ford
Isn’t Justin Timberlake the personification of “it just keeps getting better”? We’ve gladly said goodbye to his Maggie Mee-haired self (albeit with a tinge of nostalgia) and welcomed with open arms that smooth guy in a suit and tie. His wardrobe revamp can be credited to none other than Tom Ford, who was the creative director on The 20/20 Experience, and whose clothes JT took on tour.

Fashion Meets Music Festival
FMMF is organised by a team in Columbus, Ohio, to bring together two great passions – music and fashion, in live performances, runway shows, unique activations, and more. The line-up this year includes big names like AWOLNATION, Ludacris and Taking Back Sunday. It will happen on 5th and 6th Sept in Columbus, Ohio. More info here.

Jeremy Scott x MTV Moonman
Miley’s favourite designer has given the MTV Moonman a facelift, adding colour and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers’s iconic TV test pattern bars to the MTV flag. The Moonman now dons the signature Jeremy Scott winged shoes and some serious bling. See him live at the MTV Video Music Awards on 30th August.moonman-1439817708
