September 18, 2015

It’s the dream isn’t it, the stuff we draw on our art blocks when we were children – a house with trees, flowers and a windy path that leads right to the door. Unfortunately, high-rise living, while breezy, doesn’t really allow us room to grow our own plants, herbs and fruits.

Unless you’re smart about it. And these experts certainly are. Open Farm Community (OFC) is partnering with Edible Garden City to host an “Edible Growing in Apartments” workshop, where they’ll teach us urban, apartment dwellers the easiest ways to grow and take care of our edible plants at home.

This takes place on 19 September 2015, Saturday, at 9.00am – 11.30am, and the 1.5 hour introductory hand-on session includes knowledge types of soil, transplanting plants, and sowing seeds. In addition, each participant will bring home their cuttings, as well as a pot with plants from OFC!

Tickets are priced at $30 per pax, inclusive of materials. Limited to the first 20 pax only.
