Hitting the stores again with another exciting new collaboration with Dr. Martens is Mark Wigans. Wigans, one of UK’s most influential graphic artists, perfectly embodies 20th century pop culture through his illustrations. The inspiration for this collection is drawn from music, and comprises of three different prints on the signature yellow-stitched groove-soled boots, as well as belts, bags and tees.

Not only are these black and white prints bound to catch anyone’s attention, they’re also exclusive to Dr. Martens, making it a one-of-a-kind pair of boots. The second and third prints are both adapted from his previous artworks dating back to the 1980s. One of which was inspired by a Soho nightclub, with neon motifs designed to disorientate the clubbers. Last but not least, the print features cartoons of high profile characters such as Vivienne Westwood, Andy Warhol and Stephen Jones.

Though this collection is way off Dr. Marten’s signature subtle tones of oxblood, black and blue, it definitely is a collector’s item.

The Dr. Martens x Mark Wigans collection is available at Dr. Martens Capitol Piazza and Wheelock place, from $219 to $259 for boots, $12 for socks and $299 for leather bags.
