On Saturday, a bit of YG Entertainment landed in Sephora ION Orchard, as Moonshot had its official launch at the store. All the shades of the Cream Paint, Jelly Pot and Powder Block were on display, and we were pretty overwhelmed by all the swatching to be done:

The Moonshot boys all the way from Seoul were also there to do makeup demonstrations, and provide complimentary express makeovers:

We also spotted Oon Shu An rocking her blonde ‘do and cherry lips (try the Cream Paint in 105 Drunken Red).

We had a quick chat with David Scheffen, International Training Manager for Moonshot Southeast Asia, and he revealed that these Jelly Pots, which can be used for the eyes, cheeks and lips, are more multitasking than we thought they already were – they can be used as nail colour, too. For real.

Just paint it on with an eyeshadow brush, and it dries looking just like regular nail polish. Remove it with regular makeup remover, but for more lasting power, add a coat of regular top coat polish, then remove that with nail polish remover.

A quick look of what the Moonshot counter at Sephora ION looks like (it’s situated near the entrance). We hear there are plans to gradually bring in more products, so there’s definitely plenty more to get excited about in the coming months. For now, here are some ideas on K-pop-inspired looks you can nail with the current Moonshot colours.

Moonshot is available at Sephora stores.
