We previously introduced Moonshot, a makeup line by YG Entertainment – yes, they’re that Korean agency behind only the biggest K-Pop acts like Big Bang, 2NE1 and Psy.

It’s now time to really get excited, as Moonshot is officially launching at Sephora this Saturday, 26 September. Head down to Sephora ION Orchard to experience the Moonshot colours for yourself from 5pm to 6pm, and pick up K-pop star makeup tricks and get express makeovers from the Moonshot boys who will be there. There’ll also be promotions to expect, while stocks last!

In the meantime, we picked these super-cute Moonshot looks as modelled by their ambassadors Lee Sungkyung and Sora Choi, as well as the key products to copy them.

This is a classic Korean look – shimmery brown eyeshadow with pinched cheeks and lips. The key here is bringing the shimmery texture of the eyes to the cheeks and lips without overdoing it, so keep to neutral tones as much as possible.

Go for green – it’s really not that intimidating when used in a light pastel wash, and paired with sweet pink cheeks and lips.

This look is straightforward: Let your lips do the talking with an eye-catching blood red with just a bit of glossy texture. Keep the complexion semi-matte and as flawless as possible (i.e. with good use of concealer).

Face Perfection Matt Stick, $49; Dark Spot Concealer, $35; Cream Paint in 105 Drunken Red, $36.

Orange blush is another trend that’s very much Korean. It might seem like a very bold step to take, but make it worth by using a light hand, and applying it on the apples of the cheeks to keep the look youthful, not clownish.

Face Perfection Liquid, $56; Powder Fixer, $53; Cream Paint in 201 Corni Juice, $36.
