Yes, more reason to pop by McDonald’s now. There’ll be a new burger in town, and it’s in the form of the Seaweed Ebi burger – a continuation of their Ebi-Kase line. This follows shortly after the first Cereal Ebi burger that was out early this month, and similarly, the set is paired with crispy Sweet Potato Fries and Coca-Cola, as well as the Honeydew McFlurry ($2.90).
Out 17 September, the Seaweed Ebi features whole shrimp and fragrant seaweed, which makes all the difference, in a crunchy patty. This is topped with mentaiko-flavoured sauce and whole leaf lettuce, and sandwiched between fluffy corndust buns. Yes, you heard that right, mentaiko. Does that taste better than that sweet-and-spicy shrimp sauce that we already love? Guess there’s only one way to find out.
The Seaweed Ebi Special is available at McDonald’s Singapore from $7.45 from 17 September onwards. mcdonalds.com.sg
