Throwback to the year 1969 – The Archies topped the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 Singles with “Sugar, Sugar”, man landed on the moon for the first time and the adidas Superstar was born. The Superstar was the brand’s first low-top basketball shoe that had an all leather-upper and the iconic rubber shelltoe. This legendary shoe reached cult status after it was seen on many NBA players within the first few years of its inception. Much like the Superstar, which has seen numerous collaborations and updates, the highly sought-after ADH-1969 watch (named after the year the sneaker was born) too has received a makeover. The watch features sneaker-inspired touches like a shell-toe detail on the bezel and a dial texture that takes visual cues from the sneaker’s tread. It’s been reworked with new metallic platings in silver, gunmetal, black and rose hues that will easily complement your new fall/winter outfits.

adidas Originals “ADH-1969 Collection”, $270-$300. Available at adidas Originals and Performance stores (Pacific Plaza #01-09 & The Shoppes atMarina Bay Sands #B1-53-55).
