This controversial play, banned for 30 years, finally makes its way to Singapore, and if you haven’t already heard about the groundbreaking book and film, you should be ashamed. Previously on a sell-out season at the West End, the dystopian classic is led by an all-male cast while, the performance captures the spirit of Anthony Burgess’ original masterpiece. It joins psychopathic teenage protagonist Alex DeLarge and his droogs in an underworld of violence and sex, which screeches to a halt when Alex gets caught and set to jail. He then seeks for help from the Ludovico behaviour modification in exchange for his release later, but is he really cured? This ultra-masculine and adrenaline-pumping performance has been┬árated M18 by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) and will run for five nights.
