This year has been a year of collaborations for Uniqlo with some of the most iconic names in fashion: Ines De La Fressange, Christophe Lemaire and as of 30th October, the chief editor of CR fashion is hopping onto the bandwagon; a name that is in no way foreign to anyone in the fashion scene, Carine Roitfeld.

The Carine Roitfeld collection is a new addition under their LifeWear concept, and is a product of two great minds that is Naoki Takizawa, design director at Uniqlo, and Miss Roitfeld herself. Accentuating the beauty of individuality and femininity, with sophisticated silhouettes and great attention to detail all while ensuring top-notch quality, which seamlessly fits in with the rest of Uniqlo’s range in general.

Key items in this collection that should be the first thing you look out for when the collection hits the stores are the coats and jackets that come in high-qulity faux fur, offering graceful curves but also a touch of masculinity which would tie any look together. While the knits are of a high-grade cashmere, the rest of the silk blouses, form-fitting leather skirts and shirts, and pants are smartly designed to beautifully accent all the right curves in all the right places.

I know what you’re thinking, high-grade cashmere…leather…it all sounds like you’re going to have to break the bank but nope, you’re wrong. Prices range from at $14.90 to $299.90, ensuring that there’s something for everyone, even if you’re on a budget.

While we’re looking forward to many more future collaborations with Uniqlo, we’ll pause to appreciate sheer brilliance that is Carine Roitfeld in the time being.
