Gone are the days where we used to shop from Blogshops. Remember how they used to be on domains like blogspot, live journal and weekly? Not anymore. These days, the e-commerce sites online could easily be mistaken for more internationally known labels/multi-label e-commerce sites like Urban Outfitters and Asos. And we’re thankful for that, because we know how good design has the ability to influence our spending habits, especially when it comes to shopping online. We’re glad that fashion has become so much more readily available online, that you don’t have to leave your house to pull an outfit together; all you need is a good, tasteful list of online shopping sites worth your time spent browsing and we’ve got a few we can’t keep to ourselves.
HYPHEN THE LABEL
If you’re all about that black & white life then Hyphen the label would suit you best. Ranging from everyday basics ($39.90) to dresses and outerwear ($89.90) that go well together as a set or even with the pieces you already have in your wardrobe.
Our Pick: Sybil Lace Front One Piece Suit, $47.90 Pair this almost over anything and everything — shorts, jeans, pants or skirts.
Collate The Label
If you didn’t know, Collate The Label took its first walk down the runway this year at Singapore Fashion Week which officially launched the line onto the internet. COLLATE is designed as a luxurious yet affordable range of clothing to inspire women to curate her wardrobe, to select and collect clothes that speak of her individuality. Perfect for days you feel like dressing up a bit more, and even for the festive season ahead.
Our Pick: Mesh Panel Shift Dress, $179
Dress it up or dress it down with a pair of crisp white sneakers or a light-coloured mules like the model does.
Tuulla caters to all the girly girls out there with their lace maxi dresses and two piece coordinates, perfect for dressing up to work or even a wedding lunch. If you’re not that much of a pastels and lace kinda girl, then opt for their darker, structured getups.
Our Pick: Buckle Up Jumpsuit, $53.95.
Naked and Unbound
Now we’ve heard of lingerie labels that look too pretty not to show off to the world, like Gooseberry Intimates and Handmade by Elma. But let’s be honest, some of the prettiest ones cost a fortune, and after shipping… you’d be too broke to afford real clothes. But if you’re the kind of girl who’d like to look pretty both inside and out (like, literally), then maybe Naked And Unbound could be your next option. Homegrown brand that just launched their capsule collection of pretty bralettes to pair with your knit sweaters and button up shirts. Perfect.
Our Pick: Alana bra, $49 Layer this under a slightly sheer sweater or a shirt.
Newly launch boho label Kalaia embodies a an adventurous, mysterious spirit. The word Kalaia, is adapted from the word “Calla”, which is greek for magnificent beauty. Perfect for the simple girl who appreciates the simplicity of flowly silhouettes and quality material.
Our Pick: Bali Infinity Silk Top, $119.
If you’ve stuck around long enough then you’d probably know that Exhibit is so stranger to the Singapore fashion scene. And now you can shop Exhibit online, yay!
Would you believe that these pieces are all… handmade? Yep, they are. Which would explain the price point of over $100 for an item. But it works, it looks like it just came out of a Saint Laurent runway.
Our Pick: The Trinity Clutch, $391
While their bucket bag caught our eye at the first glance, this triangle clutch eventually stole our hearts with it’s unique shape and size.
Love, Bonito’s latest active wear hits home for us, especially since our covergirl Liv Lo is the star.
Our Pick: Veata Sports Bra, $39
