If you’re a fan of all things cute, the kind who’s partial to LINE and Sanrio characters, then you’ll be excited about this. With its Southeast Asian debut, South Korea’s No.1 animated character, Pororo, will be making it way here for a theme park.

Opening on 11 November, this will be an 11,000 sq ft indoor playground at Marina Square’s new retail wing, so we won’t have to sweat it out under the sun, while making it totally easy to bring children, including our little cousins, nieces and nephews. Its sheer size also makes Pororo Park Singapore the largest indoor playground here.

Having a dedicated theme park means seeing the cuddly penguin figure, and all his friends, on the family-friendly attractions – and this includes a Loopy’s Cafe, the Pororo Express train, Poby’s Jungle Gym, Shark Ball Pool, Pororo’s House, and TongTong’s Little Theatre for live shows and performances. Most of these aim to entertain and educate children, while having them interact with others in a social setting.

The first Pororo Park opened in Seoul five years ago, and there’re now seven parks in South Korea, and three in China, while the award-winning animation is broadcast in over 130 countries, including Disney Junior Channel and Okto.

Pororo Park Singapore officially opens on 11 November 2015, and is located at #02-29 Marina Square. pororoparksg.com
