Limited Edt is taking it all the way home with their latest collaboration that imprints Singapore’s DNA into two of adidas’ Consortium’s silhouettes, making it Limited Edt’s third Singapore-themed collab this year. It’s kind of a big deal – adidas Consortium collections are made up of footwear designed by renowned brands, stores and names in the sneaker game. Both sneakers are draped in the characteristic batik fabrics, highlighting a traditional but cumbersome technique of multiple cycles of painting, dyeing and rinsing. To save time, Limited Edt created a custom floral pattern that fused our national flower, the adidas Trefoil and the store’s own insignia. The ZX Flux bears the majority of the custom pattern, wearing the Batik print on the all-fabric upper. The shoe is then highlighted with transparent stripes, off-white midsole, rose gold heel cage, eyelets, lace jewel (bearing the Limited Edt logo) and Torsion bar (on the sole). The Superstar 80v on the other hand, delivers the Batik treatment with hushed awe on its tongue, lining and heel tab complete the ultra-soft, black premium leather upper and stripes. The biggest highlight with this pair of kicks is the rose gold toecap. Both shoes come with two sets of laces with rose gold coloured tips.

Limited Edt x adidas Consortium ZX Flux, $179; Superstar 80v, $219. Available at Limited Edt stores.
