Now back with their 19th iteration, the new Nike Air Zoom Structure has become a far cry from what it used to look like back in the 2000s, in terms of aesthetics and the tech that it’s packing. It had the typical styling that most technical running shoes had, as compared to the streamlined, modern-looking beast that it is now. History lesson aside, this iteration builds on the shoe’s foundations and updated it to have increased stability, more responsive cushioning and better support. This redesigned Flywire – flatter and wider cables with additional yarn – provides a snug fit and an enhanced lockdown in your midfoot without compromising on breathability, all while giving you the support where you need it most. The combination of the triple-density Dynamic Support system and Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot amalgamates to better stability when you’re at your highest speeds.
