When it comes to macarons, it’s always a battle between Ladurée and Pierre Hermé, the two main contenders in the arena of that delightful round French pastry. We’re actually fans of the latter – not that Ladurée isn’t amazing, but Pierre Hermé does stand out more with its more unusual flavours like Chocolate & Foie Gras, Mandarin Orange Olive Oil & Cucumber Water, and more strange-sounding yet somehow-still-delicious combinations like that.

So turns out the founder of L’Occitane, Olivier Baussan, and Monsieur Pierre Hermé himself are buds, so he invited the pastry chef to create a collection of fragrances since he knows a thing or two about putting flavours and scents together. The result is a range that includes eau de toilettes, shimmering body powders, shower gels, body lotions, perfumed soap and hand cream in three scents: the floral Jasmin-Immortelle-Neroli, the fruity citrus and unisex Pamplemousse-Rhubarbe, and the classic Miel Mandarine.
