It’s hard to find a beauty product that’s more of a multitasker than the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. It’s the kind of product that your mum might have used on you when you were a child, so soothe cuts and insect bites, just like how generations of mums have done the same all over the world – after all, this product has existed since Elizabeth Arden herself created it in 1930. 85 years on, everyone from mums to professional makeup artists to models still keep it close, because it truly works for everything: to moisturise even the driest and most chapped skin, to soothe sunburns and insect bites, to add a sheen to your makeup, and to tame hair.

So for such an iconic product like the Eight Hour Cream, it’s only right that we get excited over the upcoming Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil. Yes, the famous cream now comes in an oil form, presented in a handy spray bottle so you can spritz it over your face, body and hair. It carries the same citrusy scent as the original formula, and is meant to be a more convenient way to moisturise general areas. Compared to the cream, it’s definitely not as intense or rich a treatment, but it makes for a good way to lightly moisturise the skin or hair as and when you feel like it. It contains the same botanical oils from sources like the camellia flower, grape seed, olive and avocado, to nourish and soothe the skin while boosting natural collagen levels at the same time.

Over the years, the Eight Hour Cream range has been updated with numerous new variations, but the All-Over Miracle Oil is the first time it’s so easy to dispense, especially on the hair. We’re definitely carrying this around in our handbag together with the rest of our Eight Hour essentials.
