We’ve always enjoyed keeping up with street style – observing the clothes and makeup regular girls wear on a day out often reveals an intriguing mix of current fashion and beauty trends with personal style. Here, we spotted three girls in their weekend looks of choice, and how their wardrobes give a glimpse into their personalities, as well as how each girl chooses to naturally highlight one facial feature with easy-breezy makeup. We are subscribers to the “one at a time” mantra: keep one feature in focus, and let the rest of the face form the supporting cast, instead of competing for attention. These three definitely got it right.

Feature in focus: Doll-like Lashes

It’s important to get your mascara base right, if you want your lashes to stand out. Make your mascara go further with a lengthening and volumising base like the Lash Version UP, which comes with an ultra-fine comb that separates individual lashes and coats it in a translucent black tint. The Bi.Ta.Ba Volume Mascara is all about creating volume with the Volume Up Powder and volumising comb, designed to reach even the tiniest of lashes. Apply both products on the lower lashes as well, to really make an impact.

Feature in focus: Coloured Liner

Have all eyes on your eyes with subtle use of coloured eyeliner. We especially like blue – it’s a fun, yet not too loud, way of changing up your regular black liner routine.

Use the Cream Eyeliner WP in Grey Blue to line above your eyes, extending it into a slight flick at the ends. Keep the focus on your eyeliner instead of your dark circles with the Premium Perfect Clear Up Concealer, by using the included concealer brush to layer the lighter shade over the darker one. Its reddish pigments will counter the blue tones of undereye circles more effectively than yellow-toned concealers.

Feature in focus: Dewy Skin

Dewy skin calls for the right kind of skincare. That’s when you need a multitasking product like the Premium Amino Caviar Cream, which functions as an all-in-one skincare product and makeup base. The Amino Premium 7 complex and Water-Holding Oil help add a dewy, luminous effect to the skin, which will show through makeup naturally.

Then, prep the skin with the Premium CC Amino Cream, which makes dull skin appear rosy with its pink pigments; one drop of the Premium Amino Essence Foundation after is all that’s required for light, flawless coverage with a thin veil of moisture over the skin, thanks to the foundation’s Moist Coverage Formula. Finish off with a light dusting of the CC Loose Powder and your makeup will stay fresh throughout the day.
