If there’s anyone that knows music, it’s Bandwagon. So this 10 & 11 June, they’re bringing us 3 decks worth of it, live. After a sold out debut in January, FRANK Presents: Bandwagon Riverboat II is set to bring you good music and good food (Coney Dogs & Root Beer Floats, yes please) on South East Asia’s only Mississippi Riverboat! Here’s what to expect and how to get tickets:

Due to the event’s massive popularity, the second edition has been extended to two nights, so you can expect an even bigger pool of musicians on stage. Rising star Charlie Lim will be amongst performers on the Mermaid Cove deck, where you can expect a night of acoustic and soulful tunes. Moving on up to the Pirate’s Parlour, experience the devil-may-care attitude of bands like Cockpit and Spacedays as they rock the boat, literally. But if partying all night long is the life for you, the Captain’s Deck is the place for you with beat makers like Maurice Simon and Rah to keep you dancing.

For all the food lovers, get ready to awaken your nostalgic senses as the chefs from on-board Tex-Mex diner Santa Fe and Wood & Steel Gastrobar relive old favourites from when A&W was housed on the Riverboat. Sink your teeth into the A&W Tribute menu of Coney Dogs, Cajun Calamari and Chicken Poppers, amongst others – only for $5 each! Expect Root Beer Floats too, obviously. And if you’re not too stuffed with food and want to wind down from the gigs, you can also try your hand at a range of free carnival games like Captain Hook’s Ring Toss and Giant Jenga (say what?). There’s also something called “Drunken Sailor’s Memory Game”, although we can’t say for sure how literally you’re meant to take that name. Proceed with caution, sailors.

So if you missed out at the beginning of the year, or just want to experience the Riverboat again, it’s time to grab your tickets! There won’t be any at the door once they’re sold out, so get them A.S.A.P!

FRANK Presents: Bandwagon Riverboat, 10 – 11 June 2016, held at Marina Coastal Drive, tickets from $45 – $60 (at the door, subject to availability), more information and ticket purchasing available on the Facebook Event page.
