If you’re looking for a watch that’s classy, yet affordable, it looks like squarestreet’s SQ38 ‘PLANO’ watch is perfect for you. Named after the Spanish word for “flat”, this exquisite unisex timepiece is the Scandinavian fashion label’s slimmest watch to date, with a watch face that only measures 36mm.
Fans of Neo-classicism will appreciate the watch’s stylish, antique look, while in terms of features, the PLANO can boast of the Swiss 715 movement by Ronda, enabling this baby to have an impressive 42 months of battery life, coupled with a three-hand readout and date indication.
Despite its dainty size, the PLANO is also pretty solid when it comes to water resistance. The exterior of the watch can handle up to 50 metres of static water pressure, so swimmers can go about their usual laps without worrying about leaving their watch outside the pool.
Design-wise, there are different variations offered in polished gold or PVD coated matte black stainless steel. As for the colourways, you can choose between black, gold, navy, army, sky, camel and leaf combos.
Overall, the ‘PLANO’ doesn’t venture into high-end territory with its retail price of US$265. The great thing about this product though, is that it doesn’t look cheap in any way whatsoever, making it a great mid-range purchase for all watch lovers, both young and old.
