Like many wide-eyed romantics, we fell in love with our ballet slippers when we were little girls. It was tough convincing us to not take our dainty ballet shoes out to the streets, and we’ll remain equally as stubborn towards the notion of wearing these Miu Miu lace-up flats ever single day. The classic sweet ballerina shoe is given a punky makeover here with a tough set of buckles and eyelets. Purposefully mismatched grosgrain ribbons are attached, allowing for that grunge takeover. It’s the perfect embodiment of sweet nostalgia captured in a grown-up, edgier spirit. And we’re in love.
