That is, whenever fashion week rolls around and we’re left ogling at the many lust-worthy looks we can tragically never summon enough savings up to afford. With the recent 2017 Spring/Summer presentations clouding up our current list of obsessions, you can bet we’ve already got our eyes on some of the key numbers fresh off the runway.
And guess what, Bershka’s way ahead of us on this; with an Autumn/Winter ‘16 capsule filled with notable trends that also work for Spring/Summer countries (us!). Even better news: this is Bershka we’re talking about, and that means we’re allowed to go crazy and splurge without the usual over-dramatic farewell we have to bid our dollar bills. This season promises a ton of soft-hued romance with a focus on rose gold tinted jewellery, luscious faux fur linings, and folklore floral frocks alike. Then, there’s the ever-present sport luxe vibes, as well as micro-pleats, ruffled-everything, and chic bomber jackets, which (trust us) promise to be next season’s it go-to as well.

Bomber Jackets
It could be a cold day in the office, or just another day in town with the AC blasting in our faces — but forget cardigans and coats, bomber jackets are the hottest thing you need to keep warm this season. The sporty silhouette may look kinda bulky on petite frames, but it’s really all about proportion; keep your inner layers sleek in order to contrast with this additional layer. Velvet ones also add texture to an outfit. And if you’re finding it a tad too warm, wear it off your shoulders while still covering your arms — if you’re following street style blogs, you know exactly what we mean.
Sporty Streetwear Style
Whether it’s an oversized sweater or sports shoes that people wear outside of the gym, you can’t deny how the sporty look seems to be everywhere now. It’s all about the materials and cuts, which tend to be soft and baggy, basically, as comfy as possible. That works for everyone! Keep it fresh with a nude palette (very Yeezy) or metallic sneakers that stand out against a sea of blacks and greys.
Feminine Ruffles
Here’s the new girly — rather than just relying on floral prints and flowy dresses, update your wardrobe with very in-season ruffles and pleats. The thing is to pair them with something more unexpected so you get a more edgy, rather than sweet, ourfit. Pleated pants are a good staple and a more interesting twist to culottes, while ruffles, when paired with pants or chunky boots and accessories can look rocker-chic as well.
Metallic Accessories
Rose gold still rules, and this time, we’re keeping this to our accessories. Other than metal shades, try a choker or set of hardware bracelets in the hue too.
