Create Your Very Own Personal Surround Sound Experience with LG’s Neck Speakers

Gadgets these days are good. So good, in fact, that sometimes they’re just combined altogether. One example? LG’s new TONE Studio earbud/speakers – a lean, mean audio playing machine that you can prop on your neck to create a theatre-like surround sound experience.
Basically, this device is a fast-track way for users to reach pure audio nirvana. The neckband does look a little dorky, but if getting stuck in your own blissful little world of sound is all you care about, then you should definitely make a beeline for this neat tech wearable.

After all, the surround sound audio that it produces is great for watching movies, playing video games, or for just simply listening to music, thanks to a total of four external speakers – two at the top and two at the bottom. It can also boast of a Hi-Fi DAC (Digital to Analog Converter), which is meant to recreate audio as accurately as possible.
But that’s just all about playing sound out loud. If you’re like the majority of society, and you don’t want to be an inconsiderate jerk walking around, blaring music from your neck, there are retractable earbuds for you to pull out for a personalised listening experience.
For home use, the TONE Studio has an aux-in jack for you to connect to your laptop, and if you have more than one TONE Studio speaker, you can use the Dual Play function to connect them in order to magnify your sound.
As of this writing, prices aren’t confirmed but LG says the headphones will ship around March. For more information, visit www.lg.com/sg.
