Singapore is the perfect city to wear casual clothing. The hot, humid weather makes certain of that. However, not every chill-out shirt or pants is “cool” per se, with some frumpier than others. That’s not including clothes from IN GOOD COMPANY of course.
These fashionable folks are known for dishing out clothes with a slick, yet relaxed look, but unfortunately, their collections have so far been limited to womenswear. Not anymore. From this January onwards, the company will be introducing its first menswear capsule collection.
Gents can now look forward to a medley of clean-cut and crisp t-shirts, shorts, jackets and trousers from the local fashion label. Each piece in the new collection will reflect IN GOOD COMPANY’s signature minimalist design; a look that the company says is perfect for the “urban creative.”
“The ideas behind the designs are instinctive”, said Sven Tan, creative director and co-designer, in a press release.
“As womenswear designers, we’ve always embraced classic design with a twist, but bringing subtlety into menswear requires a different precision. In terms of getting the right proportion and shape, every centimetre matters in the cut. Too much and the style appears ‘off’, too little and the design becomes pedestrian,” she added.
Well, judging from what we see so far, there are definitely plenty of exciting designs to look out for. For all you dudes who want to cop these pieces, the IN GOOD COMPANY menswear collection is now available at www.ingoodcompany.asia, and prices range from $89 to $$279.
