If you thought Kanye West’s recent mental breakdown would take him out of the game for at least a little while, you thought wrong. Not only is he jumping right back into the studio, but the controversial rapper is also reportedly working on season 5 of his Yeezy fashion line. It’s a little crazy, considering that it’s been less than two years since the release of season 1 and he’s had to manage a music career at the same time.
Page Six reported that Grammy award winning artist is going “100 miles per hour with work”, and he could be working doubly hard to to make it in time for New York Fashion Week in February (though there isn’t any concrete confirmation on that). And as if managing one brand wasn’t enough, there’s rumours that he’s planning on launching another apparel line altogether as well.
Everything is still kind of up in the air right now, but the fashion world will definitely be following West’s next move closely after the less-than-stellar performance of Yeezy season 4. Will season 5 be a return to form for ‘ye, or will another flop signal the downfall of his fashion career? Only time will tell.
