Peach tones became a legit makeup trend last year, with Too Faced’s Sweet Peach palette leading the pack.
Isn’t it obvious why people lost their heads over this? The 18 very pretty eyeshadow shades aside, Too Faced has outdone itself with the ridiculously adorable packaging. Of course the stock was wiped out once it launched at Sephora in the middle of last year, and we hear it was the same scenario all over the world; and Too Faced fans have been clamouring for a restock since.
Too Faced listened, but went way above and beyond by bringing back not only the palette, but an entire Sweet Peach collection along with it. This was announced late last year, and we finally got to have a good look at the products at the recent Sephora Spring ’17 press day.
The collection now also includes the above Sweet Peach Glow Kit, a three-shade highlighting palette with some insanely cute peach embossing on the colours, and the Papa Don’t Peach Blush.
Also part of the collection is the Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss, a pigmented shiny lip colour in 8 peach-inspired shades that is more proof that we might be finally moving on from the matte lip this year (seems like nudes are still here to stay, though).
And everything, down to the individual eyeshadow shades, bear the scent of peach (Too Faced sure has a knack of making cosmetics smell very convincingly like dessert). The Sweet Peach collection arrives in Sephora next month, and it’ll probably be easier to get your hands on something peachy this time round. If you’ve got your eyes set on the palette however, you’ll probably still want to act really fast.
