Nope, we’re not done with millennial pink just yet. The shade has invaded every aspect of our lives, plastering itself all over shoes, clothes, backpacks, and beauty products (we’re looking at you, Glossier). Now, even our homes are crying out for a bit of not-pink pink too. What in the world is going on here?
If you really want to indulge your home, the easiest way to incorporate the hue into any area is to do it sparingly and tastefully, which is why these Instagram-worthy pink candles are perfect for that. Created by Los Angeles-based brand Boy Smells, which adorably enough was started by a pair of boys, the lineup of 11 beeswax and coconut wax candles range from floral to musky and even cinnamon-scented. Obviously, each candle is labelled with a gorgeous, matte pink sticker, displaying its chic sensibilities when it “accidentally” finds itself next to your Herbivore Botanical items in an image for Instagram.
You won’t have to worry about smelling too much like a boy or a girl either. The scents sit between the line of musky and sweet without being too cloying, probably due to the surprising combination of notes, so no matter your olfactory preference, you’re sure to find one that doesn’t smell cheap (I’m sure you know what I mean).
Boy Smells candles, US$29 each. Available from boysmells.com.
