It seems like nostalgic old school items are making a major comeback, especially for the 90s kids – what with the Hello Kitty stationery sets, and Samsung bringing back the iconic flip phones. Oh, what a time to be alive. Joining in the 90s party, PUR Cosmetics has finally launched their much-hyped about My Little Pony-themed makeup collection, in honour of the upcoming animation film, My Little Pony: The Movie.
The collection includes an eye shadow palette, a makeup brush set, six lip glosses, and a 3-piece all-in-one glow stick kit, all of which is nothing short of magical, whimsical, and psychedelic.
First up, the eyeshadow palette already packs a punch with it’s vivid, eye-catching kaleidoscope of colours, that includes matte shades as well as a dose of shimmery goodness. All the basic everyday neutrals can be found in the palette, but you can also get experimental and imaginative with their bold and bright colours that are bound to serve as key accents of any makeup look. Of course, it goes without saying that the names of the shades are also named after some of our adored characters from our childhood cartoon show, such as Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, and Rainbow Dash.
Magical things always happen with blinding highlights on your face. Packed with sheer prismatic pigments in three hues, these illuminating balms are highly versatile, and can be used on the whole face from the lids, cheeks, and on the lips too.
Round off your favourite pony look with the collection’s glass-like shine lip glosses that’s a mixture of jewel-tone glitter and opalescent pearl pigments. Also, who can resist those holographic makeup brushes?
