The McDonald's Samurai Burger Is Back, With The Ninja Burger Close On Its Heels

McDonald’s has been on a roll lately, with all sorts of burgers and menu items that had us going back to the food chain more times than we’d like to admit. The Nasi Lemak Burger sold out in two weeks, while the Minions-inspired menu was simply too adorable to resist. We are always sad to see some of our favourite burgers leave the menu, but we have faith that they will return!
McDonald’s has finally answered our pleas to bring back the classic Samurai Burger. From tomorrow onwards, you’ll finally be able to sink your teeth into the grilled chicken or beef patties drenched in teriyaki sauce for the ultimate indulgence again. There is no better way to start off the weekend!

The Japanese-inspired menu will also see the return of the Seaweed Shaker Fries, while matcha fans will rejoice at the sight of the Matcha McFlurry with Red Bean. The Seaweed Shaker Fries has made so many returns, we’re wondering why McDonald’s just doesn’t make it a permanent item already. You better allow yourself a cheat day to make a trip to your nearest Macs because these items are only on the menu for a limited time.

McDonald’s also teased that there will be a Ninja Burger planning an attack on the Samurai Burger, which will sneak its way into the menu soon. We don’t know anything about it yet, but we think that it might be a black-bunned version of the Samurai Burger, with charcoal buns no less. Either way, it’ll probably be delicious, just like all of McDonald’s previous special burgers. Now all we need is a worldwide release of the limited edition Szechuan sauce.
All items are available after breakfast hours in all restaurants and via McDelivery® from 13 October, while stocks last.
