The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2017 just flew by last week in Shanghai. A two-million dollar bra encrusted with Swarovski diamonds stole the limelight, Harry Styles stole our hearts and VS model Ming Xi heartbreakingly tripped over her dress while strutting down the runway (shame on the cameraman who continued filming her!). Sure, we know why men tune in every year to watch it, but for the rest of us, we couldn’t keep our eyes away from our mobile screens in anticipation for the VS x Balmain pieces to feature on the catwalk. As of now most of the collection’s already sold out online, but tomorrow it launches at the Singapore flagship outlet at Mandarin Gallery, but of course only in limited quantity — so get there early before it’s all gone!

Here’re some of our favourite pieces from the VS x Balmain collection. Olivier Rousteing, who’s arguably already grown even bigger than the Balmain house he designs for, has built a reputation of close-knit friendships with supermodels and girls who should be supermodels in another life. The VS angels are of course no stranger to Rousteing, but beyond strengthening his creative aesthetic through this line of fetishistic lingerie, he’s aiming for the girl who isn’t afraid to show off her assets without revealing all her secrets. The collection’s about studded bras and PVC panties that’s hinting you want some sock-on-the-door bedroom activity, but edgy enough that signals whoever wants in has got to get your permission first.
