It’s almost that time of the year again when the world celebrates how awesome women are (International Women’s Day, for those of you without a clue), and Apple is taking the lead. From today to Thursday 9th March, head down to Apple Orchard Road to take part in a series of creative workshops, featuring 8 prominent women from all walks of life.
As part of Apple’s Women’s Week series, luminaries such as artist Sandara Tang, photojournalist Maye-E Wong, and paralympians Yip Pin Xiu and Theresa Goh – will conduct each session.
You can find out more about the Women’s Week series via Apple’s website, but to give you a better idea of what you can expect, we’ll highlight some of the more prominent events. For instance, Sandara Tang will hold a live art drawing session on 4th March, showing you drawing techniques to transform an idea into a fantasy creature.
On 6th March, Maye-E Wong will give a talk on social issues and political protests, followed by a tip-sharing session on how to conjure a captivating story in photos.
Of course, all the sessions will be conducted with Apple products.
