Bubble Milk Tea Toast Combines Our Favourite Taiwan Snacks

Is it just us or is everyone holidaying at Taiwan this time of the year? For a while there seemed to be a hype around visiting all the touristy spots in South Korea, wearing their iconic fashion statement — face masks. But recently, we’ve seen on many of our friends’ social media feed the beauty of the great country, prompting us all to check up on cheapest flights there.

Alternatively, you could try Benjamin Browns’ latest fad, Bubble Tea Milk Toast.

It combines two of Taiwan’s popular snacks — bubble tea and thick toast — so that you get the crunch, ooze and fluff of traditional  breakfast toast, with the added chewiness of “pearls” found in their famed bubble tea. It’s one of those food combinations that sounds delicious, looks delicious, and (we bet) tastes delicious too! Available at Benjamin Browns cafe, it costs $6.90 and come in three flavours, Ovaltine, Crunchie, and Caramel Lotus spread.
