Moschino Follows Erdem Collaborating With H&M

Moschino is the latest designer brand to collaborate with H&M, for the collection, “MOSCHINO [tv] H&M.”

The announcement was made during the most recent Coachella, or, as most of us have already dubbed it, #BEYCHELLA. Creative director of Moschino, Jeremy Scott, has long been a strong ambassador of the brand. Coupled with his affinity for It Girls, including Gigi Hadid, Rihanna and Katy Perry, Coachella just seemed like the perfect place to announce the collaboration. It doesn’t hurt that Scott’s pretty radically insane when it comes to his aesthetic, one most would consider appropriate only for such a celebratory music festival.

According to Scott, “Everything H&M does, it just aligns with me. I am ‘the people’s designer’, after all. That’s a title that’s been bestowed on me; I think because I believe in the democratisation of fashion, and I’ve found many different ways to reach people.” “Democratisation” is a word that hits the nail on the head with this collaboration. No one can deny Scott’s appeal to his loyal customers, who loved everything from his teddy bear Adidas to McDonald’s logo phone case.
