What’s a holiday if you don’t have any photos to show for it? We are all guilty of taking photos of everything on a trip – whether its creating a visual diary to remember the trip by or for your Instagram. We’re not going to lie; we sometimes visit places just for the photos.
Instead of visiting the Eiffel Tower or Disneyland again, why not brighten up your Instagram feed with a trip to a colourful, inflatable island? This floating playground in Manila is exactly the thing that will increase your likes and make your photos stand out in a feed full of cherry blossoms and Disneyland pictures. Aptly called Inflatable Island, the pastel wonderland is the ultimate beach getaway for 2018. If you had to strike out your Boracay travel plans because they decided to ban tourists this summer, you might as well head to Subic Bay. You get the same pristine white beach with clear, sky-blue waters PLUS more fun!
We love how this inflatable playground is perfect for all sorts of travellers – families with young kids will love all the trampolines and swings while the millennials kid-ults can maximise their entry passes with tons of photos. The addition of the Unicorn Island with a rainbow walk just made all our wildest unicorn dreams come true! We thought that the unicorn hype was dying, but we think that everyone’s just moving onto rainbows this summer.
With all these rainbow launches like rainbow slides and pastel highlighters, we know where we’re going to be spending this summer at.
But it’s not all just unicorns and rainbows at Inflatable Island. The 40,000 square feet playground is full of obstacles like a 9m tall human launcher and a 10m high Giant Tarzan Swing. There’s nothing stopping you from creating your own Ninja Warrior competition in between you and your friends.
A map of Inflatable Playground and Unicorn Island
The only thing we disagree on is the map, which points out that the fun starts at the entrance to the inflatable playground. We think that the fun (and all the Insta-worthy moments) start the moment you step onto the beach. Just look at how gorgeous and photo-ready the entire beach is!
Be greeted by the Pink Bali Lounge when you first step onto the beach. Those beanbags looks so comfy to admire the pink and blue skies on.
Thirs-tea? Grab a drink and seek shelter under tasselled rose and lavender umbrellas.
The beach overlooks the two inflatable floating playgrounds. All tickets allow you to chill at the beach for the entire day.
Here’s when that waterproof iPhone X will come in handy.
Plunge into water the sea if you ever let go of these monkey bars.
Get launched into the air as a big flying or freaking blob.
And of course, the Unicorn Island. Spot the narwhal!
At the end of the rainbow isn’t a pot of gold, but that elusive unicorn. And a giant one at that too.
And behind the unicorn is… a pink slide!
