As if we needed more reason to put our diet plans on hold (no thanks to McGriddles’s widely-anticipated return), Burger King has joined in to release a brand new Ultimate Striploin Steak Mushroom Swiss Burger.
The usual cheeseburger will get a mouth-watering upgrade in the form of a striploin steak. Yes, one whole slab of juicy, tender beef steak right smack in the burger. And it’s exactly as tantalising as it sounds. The burger will feature a flame-grilled striploin steak, topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese for the ultimate cheeseburger experience.
According to the company, the new burger comes at the back of their 100% Angus beef burgers released last year. Their marketing manager, Ms Kym Lee, also revealed in a press release that new and exotic flavours were considered before Burger King landed on a classic pairing of beef with mushrooms and cheese to “enhance the pure flame-grilled taste that beef lovers enjoy”.
The limited-edition burger will join their Ultimate Selection for a limited time only. It is unsure how long this burger will stay on the menu, so we’ll suggest sinking your teeth into it sooner, rather than later.
Now, you can even pre-order your meals with the new Burger King phone application, and pop by to collect it later at a self-appointed time and preferred outlet. This new feature will be rolled out in phases across all Burger King outlets islandwide.
The Ultimate Striploin Steak Mushroom Swiss Burger is available now, and the Burger King Singapore app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
