We can get nostalgic over food as well, it seems. When Mr Softee made its long-awaited return to 7-Eleven, we were all really excited. After all, we grew up treating ourselves to Slurpees and Mashed Potato at the convenience store after school.
Originally, Mr Softee was only available in its original vanilla flavour. And now the Chendol version is back! For just $1.50, you can indulge in a cup of nostalgia soft serve that used to be our go-to ice cream before we switched to McDonald’s and Wendy’s. And the recipe is exactly as the same as when the soft serve was first launched, so you can be sure that it tastes like how you remember it!
You won’t be able to miss the the Mr Softee machine as looks like one of those old-school Space Invaders arcade games machine, down to the “Start” button. Here’s a little more nostalgic fun for you: every time the “Start” button is pressed, the Space Invaders theme will play!
In an ideal world, we would be able to get Chendol Mr Softee at every 7-Eleven on the corner. But the soft serve will only be launched at selected outlets and here are the locations of the 10 outlets where you can find the ice cream for now:

7-Eleven hopes to have Chendol Mr Softee make an appearance at more outlets, but for now, only these 10 outlets are confirmed to have the ice cream.
Just like every other launch, the Chendol Mr Softee will only be around for a limited period of time. (Sidenote: can we get the Chocolate Mr Softee too?)
If you aren’t near any of those 10 7-Eleven outlets, you can also try McDonald’s D24 Durian McFlurry, which will be available at all McDonald’s outlets islandwide from tomorrow 12 July.
