The Latest Converse X Kasina Collab Celebrates Street Culture

Converse is joining hands with Seoul-based brand Kasina in its latest collaboration, and it’s all about street culture. The collection pays homage to Kasina’s 20 years in Korean Streetwear through the silhouettes of the One Star and the Chuck 70 Ox.

A dominant shaper of Korea’s streetwear scene, Kasina began in 1997 and started off predominantly in skate. It has now grown to offer streetwear for musicians, skaters and artists alike on Seoul’s streets.

The Converse X Kasina collection will feature Kasina-inspired elements on Converse silhouettes, with the use of contrast stitching and intricate leather designs. Both silhouettes will have black leather uppers, the same black pinstripe detail on the midsole, and the star logo split between the clear outsoles.

Keep your eyes peeled for special details like the Korean Hanja character “女” where Kasina derived its name from, and the “1997” imprint on the heel denoting Kasina’s founding year.

The collection will be available at DSM Singapore on the 14th July. Head over to www.converse.com.sg  or follow @converse_sg on Instagram and @conversesg on Facebook for more details.
