McDonald’s Reveals Ha Cheong Gai Delights For National Day!

If you are somehow still sore about the selling out of our well-loved McGriddles, then these newest creations from McDonald’s might soothe both your #salty soul and your hungry stomach, and just in time for National Day!

Inspired by the familiar savoury prawn paste flavour we all love, McDonald’s has launched its Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Burger and Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets, which will be available during after breakfast hours from the 12th of July at all outlets, or via McDelivery or GrabFood. Be warned though, that these favourites are here for a limited time only. Don’t say bojio.

The Ha Ha Cheong Gai Burger consists of a slab of chicken thigh marinated with real prawn paste and fried to a golden, crisp finish. Better still, its layered with prawn paste-flavoured mayonnaise and lettuce for a nice, textured balance.

Prices will start at $6.05 for the burger.

McDonald’s will also launch its Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets, going at the price of $2.20 for 2pcs, though two pieces doesn’t even sound enough.

In any case, if Ha Cheong Gai isn’t your thing (though we can’t imagine why), also available on their special menu is the Breakfast Curry Burger. Think the classic McDonald’s curry sauce on a chicken patty, sunny side-up egg and finished with melted cheese.

Prices start at $4.20 for this one and is available now during breakfast hours and with McDonald’s Grab & Go.

We think its a great idea to snap up some criss cut fries while you’re at it, and if you need any dessert, the D24 Durian McFlurry sounds like the best round-up for this unique, quintessential Singaporean Mc feast! Or, if you prefer a savoury snack, McDonald’s is also bringing back its Kueh Salat cake at McCafes.

I don’t know about you, but my (already non-existent) diet is going on hold again. What a time to be alive (and Singaporean, at that).

Klook will also be holding a heritage trishaw experience with McDonald’s and you can check that out here.

The Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Burger will be available during after breakfast hours from the 12th July onwards for a limited time only, and can be ordered in-store or via McDelivery® and GrabFood: https://bit.ly/2IwBFw1.  It will be available from today as part of a soft launch.
