
NYLON SINGAPORE is the Singapore edition of NYLON
Magazine. Its first edition is the April 2012 issue and it is published by Indonesian publishing house, MPG Media, which also publishes NYLON Indonesia, NYLON Guys Indonesia, Surface Asia, dwell Asia, Livingetc. Asia, and August Man Indonesia magazines.
Founded in 1999 by Marvin Scott Jarrett, Jaclynn B. Jarrett, Helena Christensen and Mark Blackwell, NYLON Magazine is an American publication that focuses on pop culture and fashion. Coverage includes beauty, music, design, celebrities, technology and travel.
The NYLON brand extends beyond print. Apart from the magazine, NYLON is now also available digitally as an iPad application, which includes video, music and other exclusive content. In 2009, Jarrett founded Nylon Records and signed French female pop group Plastiscines as its first act. In 2013, NYLON celebrates the latest addition to its family, NYLON Thailand.
