We don’t think we’ve seen a set of wheels sleeker than these limited edition Shanghai Tang Fixed-Gear Bicycles, inspired by the iconic Chinese black bicycle; a staple in just about every home in China. This fixed-gear unit of transportation has clean lines and strong colours, topped off with a special plate on the head tube that show off its true origins.

The bicycle is the creation of a joint collaboration between Shanghai Tang’s menswear designer, Armele Barbier, and Colossi Cycling’s Jan Kole. Each frame set is customised and hand-made, sealed with Shanghai Tang’s signature on different parts of the frame. This is one pimped up ride.

The Shanghai Tang Fixed-Gear Bicycle is now available at HK$10,800 for the Black/Orange bicycle, and HK$9,800 for the Black/Fuchsia, at the new Shanghai Tang Mansion at 1 Duddell Street in Hong Kong. For online orders, you can email customerservice@shanghaitang.com

Technical Specifications:

Frame: Hand-polished aluminium butted frame
Wheel: High profile deep “V” aero rim with flange sealed bearing hub
Front Aerospoke: Custom painted for the 54cm frame
