Western Digital has introduced its own version of personal clouds with the release of “WD 2go”. This new free app is capable of uploading, downloading, sharing, and “dropboxing”.  If you’d like to send your friend a few pictures, simply send it from your cloud using the WD 2go app. For larger items too big for dropbox, you can send them through a secure link through WD 2go.

WD 2go is now available for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android for a free download at the iTunes App Store or Amazon AppStore.
