There's Going To Be A Lot More Adidas x Yeezy Coming Your Way

When a sneaker has the ability to command US$10,000 on eBay, you know it’s something else – and that’s how the adidas Originals by Kanye West Yeezy Boost 350 was crowned the Shoe of the Year by Footwear News at the end of 2015, and the Yeezus himself became known as the King of Shoes.
Adidas made the right move, then, by taking the next step to make this relationship long term. The brand just announced that Yeezy for adidas Originals will henceforth be known as Adidas + Kanye West, which looks set to expand into apparel, accessories, and more footwear of course, in street and sport styles for both genders.

The Yeezy styles thus far have been geared more towards streetwear, but we can expect serious workout gear soon, as Adidas + Kanye West will include performance wear as well.  Said West on this partnership: “These past two years Adidas and Yeezy have given a glimpse into our future. This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations.”
We dream of the day when we don’t have to win our pair of Yeezy Boosts via a raffle then, as we hope the expansion of this highly successful working relationship will make Kanye’s designs a bit more accessible, since Adidas says there will be Adidas + Kanye West physical retail stores to look forward to. There aren’t many concrete details yet, but we have a hunch that West will reveal a lot more soon enough – in his usual dramatic style, we hope.
