We think it’s pretty safe to say that Disney has been killing it in the merchandise game lately — apart from the countless Beauty and the Beast collaborations, we’ve seen a massive Tsum Tsum shoe collection, Minnie Mouse T-shirt line and even Disney Princess-themed bikinis drop in the last month alone. With all this Disney hype it’s to easy to forget that Looney Tunes were also a huge part of our childhoods, which is why we’re glad to hear that Converse is releasing a collection that shows some love to Bugs Bunny and the gang.
Using the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star as its canvas, the collection pays homage to three beloved characters — Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird and Tasmanian Devil. Apart from proudly displaying the character’s lovable faces on the upper, the Looney Tunes logo can also be found on the tongue, and the classic “That’s all folks” line is embroidered on the interior for some extra detailing. If you can’t decide on which character you want to rep, the collection’s fourth sneaker solves that problem by featuring pretty much the entire cast on a single shoe.
The Converse x Looney Tunes collection will see an international release on the 30th of March, with the low and highs tops priced at $35 to $65 USD respectively. We’re not sure if these kicks will reach our shores, but considering how adorable and affordable they are, we’re really, really hoping that they do.
