The world’s largest male Barbie collector is at it again. And by largest, we mean the size of his doll collection, not him as a person (thought we’d clarify that).
So Mr Yang has been featured numerous times in the press with regard to his extensive Barbie doll collection (it’s amazing – see here, here and here); and according to his Instagram he’s currently on a business trip in Sri Lanka. He has with him two of his Barbie dolls, and as he says, “limited resources”. Meaning, no outfits for his poor little fashion dolls that just want to play dress up all day. What does one do? In Mr Yang’s case, he turns to Kleenex. And it looks like it’s even just two-ply!
He starts off with tissue paper dresses:
Those pleats are incredible!
Then when he’s stuck in his hotel room because of a storm….
Here he “upgrades” from Kleenex to paper hand towels that he found in the bar’s toilet.
His simple designs are strangely elegant.
He goes on to create more dresses we can see ourselves actually wearing!
And of course, some that only Barbie can pull off…
Mr Yang takes inspiration from his location…
He even brings in the hotel he’s staying at into Barbie’s narrative!
You’d think he would run out of ideas by now…
But no…. his designs get more elaborate!
Now he’s just showing off…
