Get Ready Singapore; a Cartoon Network Cruise is Coming this 2018!

A wave is coming aboard this 2018, and it’s bringing all of our favourite cartoon characters with it. Turner Pacific Asia, which distributes Cartoon Network in the region, announced yesterday (Jan 25) that it has embarked on a new partnership with cruise management company Oceanic Group to launch a “Cartoon Network Ship”.

Called Cartoon Network Wave, the ship is the first cruise liner in the world to be fully engulfed in the Cartoon Network universe, featuring popular characters from shows like Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears, and Adventure Time, with Jake the Dog emblazoned on the ship’s front. It will officially set sail in the fourth quarter of 2018.

With a capacity of over 2,000 people, the luxury liner will offer three-day, five-day, and seven-day cruises, with 12 destinations including Malaysia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, and Japan.
And it is an absolute dream come true for Cartoon Network fans of all ages. For instance, there’ll be a Johnny Bravo-themed alfresco burger bar (say what?), a Toonix pool, as well as a Rope Adventure Park. All this will be complemented with 800 cosy cabins and suites, with ultra-luxe two three-storey suites available for those with cash to spare.
