Finland: What To Do, And The Lofty Airbnbs To Stay In The World's Happiest Country

Finland’s just been voted the happiest country in the world, according to a report by the UN. It’s followed by by Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia, which also happen to be the same countries voted the happiest last year. Indications of happiness are social support, freedom to make life choices, and generosity, among others. Singapore’s in 34th place, so maybe many of us might consider travelling to Finland or the report’s runners-up some time, where all happiest-ness seems to be contained.

Cheap Flights To Finland

Here are some cheap flights we found using Skyscanner. According to official tourism site VisitFinland, the country’s seasonal weather means travelling there during different months in a year could mean you’ll do drastically different activities, “For plenty of snow and winter activities, December to March is the best time. For springtime sun and the revival of nature after the winter, April to May is the period. For long and warm summer days and plenty of events, opt for June, July and August. For autumn leaf colour, visit in September-October.”

The prices reflected are based on tickets to fly in April.
