Fishtails For Eyebrows?

Beauty trends come and go. Some are an instant hit with everyone while others are a bit more questionable. However, all the trends are extremely creative, that’s why they peak the interest of people and get people to try it out for themselves.
We’ve wrote about several eyebrow trends in the past and we thought that people were tired of eyebrow trends but we were wrong. The fishtail brow trend, which is an edgier version of the eyebrow slit, has taken off on Instagram after beauty guru @hudabeauty shared the look with her 24.6 million Instagram followers. . If you’re wondering what fishtail brows are, take a look below.

The trend was started by @skyzeditz, who photoshops celebrities’ images to enhance their makeup or create new looks. In this case, Stefan, the person behind the account, erases a bit of the arch and flips a copy of the brow for the perfect upturned tail. To finish it all off, he blends the edges for a flawless look. Blending is always important when it comes to makeup, even if you’re doing it digitally.

In an interview with PeopleStyle, Stefan said that he took inspiration from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 24 contestant, Rio Summers, whom sported a more subtle look on the show.

Social media is the perfect platform for such trends to go viral and some users have recreated this eyebrow look without any digital programmes, all! Instead, they rely solely on the power of makeup. Beauty enthusiasts use concealer and brow pomade or even gel eyeliner to get themselves the perfect split brow.

Some even went the extra mile to add colour to their fishtail brows!

Some think that the brows look absolutely chic while others feel that it gives an almost evil look to the wearer. What do you think? Will you be sporting these mischievous-looking brows?
