Did you miss the adorably goofy We Bare Bears trio when they were at Palawan Beach in Sentosa last month? You can catch them again at the end of May when Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear join the rest of their Cartoon Network squad at Gardens By The Bay for Cartoon Network’s Animate Your Life Festival.
Those days of sitting in front of your tv wishing that you could be frolicking in the Land of Ooo with Jake and Finn or join Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup in protecting Townsville from Mojojojo is no longer just a forgotten pastime – you can now immerse yourself in the cartoon worlds as Cartoon Network transforms Gardens By The Bay into an animated wonderland.
Animate Your Life will bring four different cartoons to life – The Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears, Adventure Time and Ben 10 – in a series of activities, obstacle courses and games. You can also expect there to be loads of photo opportunities with your favourite characters, and every weekend will see a series of workshop by industry professionals for more hands-on experiences like designing your own cartoon character and the basics of stop-motion animation.
So what can you look forward to?
Reimagine yourself as a Powerpuff Girl
One of the OG cartoons that were the definition of Girl Power, it’s a bit surreal to realise that the first ever Powerpuff Girls episode was aired in 1998. Channel your inner Powerpuff Girl by bouncing on a giant trampoline ride. The higher you jump, the stronger you are!
You also don’t have to choose between Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup – you can become your own Powerpuff girl or boy at the Animate Yourself booth. It’s like Powerpuff Yourself, but 100 times better. After generating your cartoon self, print him or her onto a t-shirt and show it off to see if people managed to spot the likeness!

Test your fitness at the Ben 10 Boot Camp
Being a superhero isn’t easy, especially if you’re a kid. One of the most basic requirements is your fitness level, and you can see if you’ll pass the fitness test at the Ben 10 Boot Camp. Expect rolling tunnels and void steppers in an obstacle course that is designed to see if you’re worthy of the Omnitrix.
Remember to snap a commemorative photo with Ben himself and his other alien forms in front of a cool trick mirror.
Slide down the log-ride in We Bare Bears

Made for kids and cynic adults (like us), the We Bare Bears zone at Animate Your Life will see more than just the huge-ass inflatable We Bare Bears at Sentosa Island last month. You can ride the log like in that episode when Panda, Grizz and Ice Bear went to the theme park! Except that instead of a water ride, the slide is an inflatable slide, and you’ll end up in a pool of balls instead. A slide and a ball pit? Sounds exactly like our kind of fun!

The fun doesn’t end there; there’s also going to be a cave replica of the trio’s home for a cosy photo opp!
Get lost with Jake and Finn
If Jake and Finn can turn anything into an adventure, so can you! Grab an adventure-loving buddy and head into the maze and pretend that you’re lost in another land. Princess Bubblegum, Marceline and Lumpy Space Princess might also be hanging around the Candy Kingdom arena, so keep an lookout for them. We know we will.
